In Touch Life Group 2011 Vision

Hi all,


It gives me great pleasure to announce the vision of our life group for 2011! Please take a look at the posting below. This year, we aim to do our best to upload all our life group discussion notes on the blog for everyone's reference. We hope to use this blog as a learning platform for all of you to share what you've learnt over the course of this year! Look forward to journeying with you all and hearing your testimonies!


CityLife’s vision: To raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ to impact communities, nations for the kingdom of God.

Our Life Group's vision: To build up our faith in Christ and reach out to those in our spheres of influence for the kingdom of God.

Definition of Vision: Vision is a picture of the future that produces passion

1. To raise up leaders whom will be influential representative of Christ.
This is done through:

• Accountability groups
• Women’s training/men’s redline nights
• Lifetrax

2. To raise up followers of Christ whom are grounded in the word of God.
This is done through:

• Bible study
• Bible reading plan as a LG
• Memorising of scriptures

3. To cultivate all members to be after God’s heart (love God).
This is done through: 

• Personal disciplines e.g devotions, prayers, fasting

4. Build meaningful relationships on the foundations of Jesus Christ.
This is done through:

• Regular life group meetings
• Assist and support one another in times of need
• Celebrate birthdays
• Socials
• LG retreat
• LG blog

5. Cultivate generosity amongst members.
This is done through:

• Volunteer work
• Going on missions
• Organising and participating in fundraising events

6. Equip members to be impactful in marketplace.
This is done through:

• Testimony sharing
• Sharing on LG blog
• Identifying each member's spiritual gifts and natural gifts in life group meetings

This may sound jam packed but with God's help and your cooperation, I really believe we can take giant strides in attaining the vision above. Let's make 2011 a year of breakthrough in our relationship with Christ and with those in our sphere of influence!
