26/8 Devotion (Albert)

Dear all,

The following post is my devotion for Friday night.

Scripture
3 John 11 - Beloved, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. He who does good is of God but he who does evil has not seen God.

Observation
While the logic holds true, the words sound strong and confrontational to a certain degree. This serves as a reminder to always reflect the intentions of our hearts in our everyday lives and not take our actions lightly for God is watching over us.

Application
To evaluate and reflect on my words, actions and intentions routinely. To forgive where forgiveness is due and to also ask for forgiveness.

Prayer
Father God, I pray that as I journey through life, may my words, actions and heart reflect you. I pray that I be made whole in your sight and seek to do good and not evil. May this life be lived to bring you glory and may I see you throughout my life. Amen.
