Pradeep's Devotion

Scripture: "5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.
6 He alone is my rock and salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken." (Psalm 62:5-6)

Observation: The psalmist, probably King David, is expressing his
complete trust and dependence on God. God is his refuge and strength;
without Him he would be nothing.

Application: The challenge for me is to have the same high level of
trust in God. No matter what my circumstances, I want to believe that
God will come through for me, that He is the source of hope, strength
and security in all times.

Prayer: "Lord, help me to have such a level of faith that I can
completely trust in You, for You Lord are my shield, my strength and
my hope. Nothing else can compare to You, O Lord, for You are my
everything, my reason for living. In Jesus' precious name, Amen."
